What a mood changing evening…fitting to the moodboard. Yesterday, I was hosting the “endlich Freitag” (= finally Friday) challenge in the Dani Peuss forum (a German scrapbooking forum). It took a little while upfront until I was clear about what kind of challenge I will offer. And then, finally it was time for the live event. I just came home from work, set everything online….and waited….and waited…no-one appeared online….no “hello, I am here”…no questions. My mood was fading away. After 40 minutes finally a faithful mind appeared: schnipselzauber…and a few more after a bit more than an 1h…the conversation started, the girls got creative…I was not in the mood to be creative at all….at least my overall mood became better. And these ladies made my evening (thank you so much!)…they shared 3 projects they had made…and I left almost first, as I was so tired in the end. This evening was different than I expected, but I nevertheless went happy to bed. Enough with writing…back to my moodboard:
The basis for my challenge was a moodboard and my danidori. It should be as much versatile as possible and work for layouts as well as project life, cards, and mixed-media. In my danidori I am doing hand-lettering, hence, this should be included as well. It does not matter whether the details on the photos of the moodboard, the colors or both inspire you for a layout, a card or a project life page etc…the main purpose is, that it makes you to be creative. In the moodboard I used details of these layouts and pages from Frau Pony, Dani, Mel, Suppenhuhn, Stephanie Schütze and Trudi.
As not everyone is having experience in lettering, I made short videos (in German and English) where I show how to write nicely with brush or brushpens:
And here is the page which I did inspired by the moodboard evening:
