You might have seen some photos on instagram that I had been to a crop last weekend. Here is the story about the “crop into May”. In Germany we have the habit of dancing into May, hence a lot of parties and dancing in the night from April 30 to May 1st. It was wonderful…maybe even better than last year…the memory fades a bit. In case this is also true for your, you can re-read here about last year’s crop. I was so happy upfront as I knew that almost all scrappy friends will be there…and then I realized that there is not enough time to talk with everyone extensively. I already didn’t bring that much material with me, as I sensed that I won’t scrap that much. Mel and Jenny created an amazing event!
We also had some friction and excitement which wasn’t planned that way….
There was a huge buffet of scrap material. I was a bit overstrained with the selection and went home with excess luggage, at least it felt like that. Thanks a lot to all the sponsors.
Ms Pony explained some of the materials in her 1st (?) art journaling workshop. I was especially excited about that, and will tell you more details in another post soon.
Overall, it seemed that everyone was trying mixed-media and colors to some extend….from pan pastel, to watercolors and acryl…
And even “Ms teacher” couldn’t resist, so far I only saw layouts from her.
Some were thrilled about the goodies they won…because of unicorns…cats on apple trees…both…and other prizes.
At some point of time my head had to process all the wonderful moments, which worked well thanks to the self-made eye mask from Mel. Now, I am already looking forward to next year. In this spirit: eat, scrap, repeat.
