This month, I do not have a summary of my #showupPL project. You might think, that I am not on track with it. Not completely, but a little bit. 😉 And there is one page in it which I love so much that I will solely focus on it in this post.
Last fall, Tam Laporte von Willowing Arts was announcing her next Life Book 2017 class by giving away 6 free lessons from the Life Book 2016 class. Actually, I wanted to watch them before 2017 stated, to see if that class is be something I would like to buy. As it is a year-long project with weekly videos, the costs are, of course, a bit higher which I did not want to spend without knowing anything about it. Finally, I managed to watch the videos recently…and I regret that 2017 had already started, otherwise I would have bought the class. Now, I have to wait until next year. Of course, I still could buy the class now and rapidly catch up. But that is not what I want; I would like to take the time for completing each lesson…hence, there is no other option than to wait.
Tam has a wonderful way to explain how she creates her pages. I could perfectly follow, what she is doing where. And I am super happy with my first result. Additionally, I had learnt a lot of new things: I never had thought of mixing ZIG brush pens, watercolors, and acrylic paint on one page. IT works wonderful. Tam also uses Neocolor II crayons. Though I owned a white one, I was not really aware how wonderful they are. Thus, I had bought a few quickly…I would call them water-soluble crayons as they are water-soluble, similar to watercolors.
