Today, I want to share with you an international art journal project I had participated. Earlier this year there was this idea about traveling art journals in the Get Messy Art Journal group. I had no idea what it was really about but it sounded interesting enough to participate…they got me at international, being creative and making something together…and earlier this summer, a parcel arrived including these three wonderful art journals:
I was amazed by all those wonderful pages the others already did…and I also was a bit worried if those pages that I will make, will be good enough. On the collage here below are some pages of the others; aren’t they amazing?
There were 15 artists from 7 different european countries, each of them created some pages in those journals, and sent them to the next participating artist. While these journals were traveling through Europe there was an equivalent group doing the same in America and another group in Asia. So far I have not seen their pages, but I assume they are also amazing. And here are the pages I made:
Though I was worried about the outcome of my pages I really liked them in the end. Normally, when I do art journaling or mixed-media pages, I often end up not liking the outcome. Hence, this was already a big success for me…and letting forget me, what others might think about my pages.
Here are some details of my pages:
