It has been an eternity that I have scrapped a layout. Thanks to the holidays I was able to scrap again. It is so wonderful having almost the whole day and letting the creativity flow. Of course, there was a bit of cooking and time with my hubby. Luckily he is als creative in his leisure activities.
Last year on New Year’s Eve, we tried some lightpainting with 2 friends. I was worried a bit about us sitting outside in the coldness with little success, but it turned out different: We stayed inside and it worked well after a few failure attempts. We had a lot of fun creating these photos which you can see on the layout.
In case you want to try lightpainting as well, here are our camera settings. It took a little while to figure out the right values for each camera:
exposure 4 sec
focal length 9.6 mm
exposure 8 sec
focal length 21.1 mm
With the writing of numbers and letters we initially had forgotten to mirror invert them. And during the shootings, we started to use the 2nd hand, which did not hold the headlamp, as a reference marker. At the beginning one or the other eye was lying outside the drawn faces. Each shot was a little adventure and accompanied with a lot of laughing.
And then there is one winner of the giveaway from my last post. Thank you very much for your participation, unfortunately only one could win. Congratulations, Evelyn.
