It has been already a while, that I found this embroidery book with japanese motives, which I somehow had to buy. It was decorating my shelve a little while before I started to use it. I wanted to stitch on a tote bag, that was long before our vacation in japan was planned. The thread, embroidery frame and soluble canvas, as help for the grid, was bought relatively fast, until I started the project it took another little while. But it took even longer until I finished: much more than one year. Finally, our vacation plan helped me stitch continuously.
Meanwhile, the bag is finished since almost 6 months…yay…and I use it relatively often. After all that work I dedicated a layout to the bag. the idea came up when I saw these embroidery stencil kits from Amy Tangerine. And with the upcoming of the wood veneer embroidery frames, it was clear that they also have to be used with this layout. This happens relatively often to me, I see something and immediately my fotos and layout ideas pop up in my head. Do you have this as well?
